Our President, Kristen Brown has been continually recognized by the industry for her construction excellence and has the experience and creative spirit to make each project as special as its owner. Kristen was the first female elected president of the Shreveport Chapter of Associated General Contractors. She serves on the boards of the Greater
Shreveport Chamber of Commerce and local National Association of Women in Construction, is a member of the Rotary Club of Shreveport and is active with many local civic, academic and religious organizations.
Kristen considers it her duty and joy to encourage, educate and make a path for other women to find opportunities in the construction industry and local business.

B. Wayne Brown
Senior Vice President

Wayne Brown is the Senior Vice President of Brown Builders, Inc., having held the role of President for over 40 years. He founded the company in 1971 with his father and brother.
A registered Professional Engineer, Wayne is a member of the Louisiana Engineering Society and the American Society of Civil Engineers. He is a member and past president of the local chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America. Wayne is also a member of the Shreveport-Bossier Committee of 100, Louisiana Committee of 100 and the LSU Board of Supervisors.
Wayne has been a board member for numerous non-profit organizations in the Shreveport-Bossier area and was selected Junior Achievement Laureate in 2017.
An active member in both the Shreveport and Bossier City Chamber of Commerce, Wayne was named one of the Top Ten Small Business People by the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce and the Bossier City Chamber of Commerce 1996 Small Business Person of the Year. He also served as Vice President of the Board of the Bossier Chamber. In 1997, he was a finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year by the Greater Bossier Economic Development Foundation, where he was founding member and served over twenty years, including a term as Chairman.
Wayne is an active member at First Baptist Church - Shreveport where he has served as Chairman of the Board of Deacons, chairman and member of numerous committees and as a Sunday School teacher.

Wayne Brown is the Senior Vice President. In 1971, Wayne joined his father and brother to found Brown Builders, having grown up in a family business started by his father in 1955. Wayne served as President of Brown Builders from 1971 to 2013. He is an active member of the local chapter of the Associated General Contractors of which he is a past President. Wayne served as Vice President of the Bossier Chamber Board and on the Greater Bossier Economic Development Foundation Board for over twenty years, including a term as Chairman.
He is a member of both the Shreveport-Bossier Committee of 100 and the Louisiana Committee of 100.
